Terms & Conditions
LegacyLink Networking
Effective Date: 10/01/2025
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in LegacyLink Networking (“LegacyLink,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and apply to all Members, visitors, and participants across all LegacyLink Segments. By joining or engaging with any LegacyLink activities, you agree to comply with these Terms, as well as our Policies, Code of Ethics, and Core Values.
LegacyLink Segments operate on collaboration, trust, and mutual growth. Membership Committees within each Segment provide oversight and ensure that standards are upheld. LegacyLink may update these Terms periodically, with guidance from the International Board of Advisors.
2. Membership Classification and Eligibility
2.1 Single Classification Per Segment
Each Segment permits only one Member per professional classification. This ensures diversity and equitable access to opportunities.
2.2 Representation of Classification
Members may only represent the professional classification approved during their application. Any change to classification must be requested and approved through the Membership Committee.
2.3 One Segment Policy
A Member may belong to only one LegacyLink Segment at a time. Members may not participate in other networking organisations with “one profession per category” structures where referrals are the primary activity.
3. Meeting Attendance and Participation
3.1 Punctuality and Commitment
Members are expected to arrive on time and remain for the full duration of every meeting.
3.2 Absence Allowance
Members are permitted up to three absences within a six-month period. Sending a substitute is encouraged and will not count as an absence.
3.3 Visitors
Visitors may attend up to two meetings before deciding whether to apply for membership.
4. Member Engagement Responsibilities
4.1 Referrals and Visitors
Members are encouraged to bring qualified referrals and/or visitors to help strengthen the Segment and expand business opportunities for all.
4.2 Feature Presentations
Feature Presentations are reserved for:
Members who have completed the Member Success Program
LegacyLink Directors and Consultants
This ensures value-driven, structured, and informed presentations.
5. Leaves of Absence
LegacyLink acknowledges that circumstances may arise that temporarily prevent participation. Leaves of absence may be granted for special cases—such as extended medical situations—at the discretion of the Membership Committee.
6. Use of Membership Lists
Membership lists and directories are intended solely for relationship-building and referral activities. Any marketing, promotional, or business communication outside your own Segment requires prior consent from the recipient.
7. Membership Renewal
Membership renewal is not automatic. Renewals must be approved by the Segment Membership Committee and are based on:
Active engagement
Contribution to the Segment
Commitment to LegacyLink values and standards
8. Amendments to Terms
LegacyLink may update or revise these Terms as necessary. Any changes will be communicated through official channels, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
